Our Mission

Our primary mission is to take care of you…to assist you in all aspects related to your surgery and health. Visits to the doctor can cause anxiety. We want to alleviate your fears and help you return to health as quickly as possible. You may need surgery or additional testing to help you improve. These things will only be recommended if we truly believe they are in your best interest. Feel free to ask questions…we are here to help.

Our secondary goals are to take care of your family and build long-lasting relationships with those around us. Your family may have questions about your treatment. We encourage family members to come to office visits and to ask questions. We would also like to care for your entire family. If your family should ever need help treating conditions such as heartburn, gallbladder problems, or obesity (medical weight loss with medications like Ozempic or Mounjaro), please call us to set up an appointment.

What Services Do We Provide?

Dr. Chang is a general surgeon who has completed specialty training in laparoscopic and weight-loss surgery. A list of the most common operations/services we offer includes:

1. Medical weight loss with medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro.
2. Laparoscopic gastric bypass, sleeve, and LAP-BAND®
3. Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder)
4. Surgery on the intestinal tract (colon surgery, appendectomy, heartburn surgery)
5. Hernia surgery
6. TIF (Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication) for heartburn
7. Hiatal hernia surgery

Not everyone who comes to my office will need an operation. Some patients may simply need an evaluation. We are happy to provide this service.

Financial Policy

It is our goal for all aspects of the billing process to be open and transparent to you and your payer (insurance company and/or other responsible party). It should be straightforward and easily understood. Healthcare can be expensive. However, we will do our best to help minimize the cost of your care.
